OZZY OSBOURNE, JEFF BECK Among 2011 'International Songwriting Competition' Judges

August 10, 2011

The prestigious International Songwriting Competition (ISC) has assembled a distinguished panel of judges for its 2011 competition, including legendary heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne and guitarist Jeff Beck.

The International Songwriting Competition is an annual song contest whose mission is to provide the opportunity for both aspiring and established songwriters to have their songs heard in a professional, international arena. ISC is designed to nurture the musical talent of songwriters on all levels by promoting excellence in the art of songwriting. With the most prestigious panel of judges of all the songwriting and music contests in the world, ISC offers exposure of your songs to the most influential decision-makers in the music industry.

Depending on the category, submissions are judged on the basis of the following criteria: Creativity, Originality, Lyrics, Melody, and Arrangement. Production/Recording quality and vocal ability are not criteria.

In addition to cash and merchandise prizes, winners benefit from a multilateral promotional campaign designed to give international exposure and attention to their songwriting achievements.

ISC is now accepting entries for the 2011 competition. Now is your chance to enter what the New York Times calls "the songwriting competition to take note of" with $150,000 in cash and prizes, including $25,000 cash for the grand prize winner alone.
